Kevin graduated from the University of Dundee in 2008. He has worked in general practice in Aberdeen, Australia and Edinburgh, and joined the Penicuik team in 2019. 

Kevin is a highly experienced dentist whose meticulous approach allows him to provide the best care to his patients. He has a passion for the use of digital dentistry and modern techniques to deliver high quality treatment. Over the years, he has attended various professional development courses to enhance his knowledge and clinical skills. 

His relaxed and caring nature creates a calm environment for his patients to undertake their dentistry. 

Away from dentistry, Kevin is a keen traveller and scuba diver. In his spare time, he enjoys running and exploring the countryside with his wife and Goldendoodle dog.

Georgia graduated in 2006 from the University of Athens, Greece. She has been practicing dentistry in the United Kingdom since 2008 and has been part of the team at Penicuik Dental Centre since 2016.

Georgia’s aim is to give patients the tools they need to help to maintain a healthy mouth, and to encourage and educate patients to improve their oral health. She finds treating nervous patients and children particularly rewarding and always puts her patient’s needs first.

Shifa qualified from Universidad Complutense (Madrid, Spain) in 2013 and has since worked as an Associate Dentist in the U.K and Qatar in NHS/private dental practices.

Shifa enjoys all aspects of dentistry and particularly treating children and anxious patients, listening and talking to patients and helping to improve their oral hygiene and self-confidence.

Katy enjoys all aspects of her job as an Associate Dentist, particularly working with anxious adults and children. She likes to build patient’s confidence by creating a relaxed and positive environment.

She believes everyone has the right to access great quality dental care regardless of any barriers they may face and as the mum of a child with autism, has a unique understanding of how challenging a trip to the dentist can be. She believes her job is to make that easier!

Katy also enjoys cosmetic dentistry, including composite bonding, tooth whitening, veneers and crowns, and offers facial aesthetics including anti-wrinkle treatment and facial fillers.
