Crowns

A perfect match.

It’s remarkable to think there was a time when dental crowns were an unnatural gold. Thankfully with today’s advanced materials they’re renowned as much for their look as for their function, with crowns that exactly match the rest of your pearly whites.

Crowns are usually required when a tooth becomes badly decayed, weak or broken through injury. Often they’re also needed when a filling is no longer effective, or if root canal treatment has left teeth weakened and brittle.

The crown is custom-made in a dental lab, matching the exact shape, shade, texture and translucency required to blend in with your other teeth. Then the crown is bonded over the top of the existing tooth, bringing it back to full use again. Once it’s in place, you’ll be hard pressed to remember which one is the crown.
