Instead of paying for routine treatments as you go, you can spread the cost through regular monthly payments. Your plan is tailored to your individual oral health needs, helping you stay on top of your dental health with confidence.
What is Denplan?
We’ve partnered with Denplan to offer flexible payment plans that help cover the cost of routine and preventive dental care.
Depending on your recommended plan, this may include:
- Routine dental examinations
- Hygienist appointments
- Dental x-rays
- Preventive dental care
- Oral health advice and support
- Discount on restorative non cosmetic treatment (decided by your practice)

Denplan is available at selected Clyde Munro practices and may not be offered everywhere. To find out if your local practice provides Denplan, please contact the practice directly or speak to your dentist at your next appointment.
Plan Examples
Denplan Essentials
Designed to cover your routine dental care with predictable monthly payments.
Includes:
- Check-ups (up to contract maximum)
- Scaling, polishing, and hygiene treatments (up to contract maximum)
- Preventive dental advice
- Dental X-rays where needed
Excludes:
- Restorative treatment such as fillings, crowns, bridges, or dentures
- Laboratory fees and prescriptions
- Specialist treatment or referrals
- Orthodontics, implants, or cosmetic treatment
- Sedation fees
- Any treatment excluded by your practice contract
Your practice team will confirm exactly what is included in your individual plan.
Denplan Hygiene
Supports ongoing gum health and hygiene care through regular treatment.
Includes:
- Hygiene appointments, treatments, and support as outlined in your contract (reviewed as needed by your practice team)
- Advice and guidance from your dental team
Excludes:
- Hygiene treatment outside your registered practice team
- Routine preventive or restorative dental care
- Additional services unless agreed with your practice
Denplan for Children
Helps children build positive lifelong dental habits while making care more manageable for parents.
For your child:
- Builds familiarity and trust with their dental team
- Encourages strong lifelong oral health habits

- Helps create positive, relaxed dental visits

- Spreads the cost of your child’s dental care through monthly payments
Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover
Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover is an optional additional insurance product you can add to your Denplan Essentials payment plan for just 60p per person per month. Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover provides extra benefits and protects you in the case of accidental dental injury or dental emergencies. It also gives you access to their worldwide injury and emergency cover, including their exclusive 24-hour Assistance Line.
- Up to £600 for temporary emergency treatment in the UK, when you’re more than 40 miles from your registered dental practice*
- Up to £600 for temporary emergency treatment received abroad, anywhere in the world and specified worldwide dental injury cover
- Cover towards treatment costs if you have a dental injury
- Access to our exclusive 24-hour Assistance Line
- Cover for out of hours consultations in the event of a dental injury or dental emergency
- A hospital cash benefit if you are admitted overnight for dental treatment
- Mouth cancer covers up to £12,500, as well as a one-off payment of £2,500 if you are diagnosed with mouth cancer (subject to terms and conditions)
