Dental Sedation
At Clyde Munro we’ve got the expertise to help you relax in the chair.
At Clyde Munro we fully understand that some patients may experience dental anxiety. But there really is nothing to fear. We have dental teams trained in a range of methods to help calm nerves. Just talk things through with your dentist and they’ll tell you all about the various options.
Conscious or IV sedation
An excellent option for nervous or anxious patients, or indeed for anyone who requires reassurance with lengthy or complex treatments. It’s a good alternative to local anaesthetic combining a sedative to make you relaxed and drowsy, with analgesic (painkiller) and anaesthetic. The combined effect of these three elements puts you into an induced state of relaxation and leaves very little memory of the procedure afterwards.
