Supplying Mouthguards to the Scottish National Hockey Team

Having supplied the women’s team with the essential safety devices during summer 2024, Clyde Munro dentists have also now provided hockey-specific mouthguards to the men’s team.

King Leung – dental technician at SmilePlus Dental Care & Implant Centre in Edinburgh – who provided the mouthguards commented:

“It has been a pleasure working with both the women’s and men’s national hockey squads this year. Digital impressions were recently taken, by one of our dentists, of all the male players’ mouths before custom-made, hockey-specific mouthguards were fabricated at the SmilePlus Dental Laboratory and presented to the Scottish Nationals during a training weekend at the Glasgow School of Sport, Bellahouston. These are crucial devices for anyone participating in contact sports, protecting their teeth and the soft tissues around their mouths.”
