I qualified in 2008 from Glasgow University and have worked in general practice ever since. I previously worked in Dumbarton and Kincardine before starting at Short and Associates in 2014. I enjoy the variety of primary care dentistry but particularly like treatment planning large cases and extractions. In my spare time I look after and compete my horse, Hugo. I also enjoy running and adventure sports.

I qualified from Liverpool Dental School 1995.

Further training as House officer at Liverpool Dental Hospital then SHO (Maxillofacial Surgery) at Arrowe Park Hospital, VT in general dental practice at Victoria Dental and Implant Clinic including IV sedation training (SAAD London).

I’ve worked at Short and Associates since April 1998, providing all forms of general dentistry with special interest in complex restorative treatments including full arch rehabilitation and implant supported fixed and removable prosthodontics. I’m an active member of ITI and have presented complex cases at Perthshire study club.

I graduated from Dundee University in 2015. I have worked in NHS dental practices since then. I started in Short and Associates in 2018. I love that it is a local family friendly practice with a lovely crew of staff. I currently work 3 days a week due to having 3 young children at home. I love to read every spare chance I get and I’m currently learning how to sew my own clothes.

Dr Callum Graham graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 1999, having changed from a career in engineering to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist.

His implant journey began in 2003 in Glasgow, and he has trained extensively in the UK and abroad to develop the skills to provide a full range of treatment solutions, from single-tooth implant replacement to full-mouth reconstruction and rehabilitation.

He particularly enjoys cases where there has been severe bone loss and has helped pioneer new techniques for bone growth, allowing him to help many patients who were previously advised that they were not suitable for dental implants.

He does this by combining ultra-modern treatment protocols for bone regeneration with short implants and treatments specifically designed for these challenging cases.

Callum firmly believes in a more organic approach to treatments and in the body’s natural regenerative power. He uses the PRGF-Endoret system from BTI Biotechnology Institute, which utilizes a sample of the patient’s own blood to accelerate healing and help regenerate bone.

In addition to implant treatments, Callum is highly trained and experienced in cosmetic and reconstructive treatments to help restore and enhance the appearance of your smile.

Training and development play a large part in Callum’s career. He has postgraduate qualifications from both Royal Colleges in Scotland—the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh—and is an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry. He firmly believes in the ethos of these institutions and is passionate about supporting the development of colleagues through various training courses and mentorship programmes.

He regularly lectures in the UK and abroad to dental colleagues, postgraduate, and undergraduate dental students.

In addition to his clinical duties, Callum is also the Chief Clinical Officer with Clyde Munro Dental Group, Scotland’s leading dental provider.

I graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree from Edinburgh University in 2025. Before this I was a registered dental nurse in Glasgow.

In my spare time I love playing hockey at my local club. I also enjoy going to the gym and have competed in 2 Hyrox competitions, in Glasgow and Paris
