M&S Dental Care

Alison graduated as a Dentist from the University of Dundee in 2012. She worked in general and community dental practice in Inverness and England before joining the team here at M&S Dental Care in 2016.

Alison has a particular interest in working with patients who feel anxious and is qualified to provide intravenous sedation.

Outside of work Alison is kept busy with her young family and loves to go outdoors with them. She also enjoys heading out for a run and is currently training for the London Marathon.

Christoff Du Plessis graduated in 2012 from the University of Dundee. He joined the team in 2016, having worked in Highland community dental clinics, oral surgery (at Raigmore Hospital) and general practice in England.

He loves getting to know his patients and spends most of his spare time with his young family. He enjoys music, foraging and exploring the Lochaber hills; a landscape he is passionate about.

Gregor graduated as a Dentist from the University of Glasgow in 1994 and founded M&S Dental Care in 1998. He is the principal dentist at the practice as well as one of the VT trainers.

Gregor also works with the NHS and is a Dental Practice Advisor. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking and can be seen with the West Highland Wheelers. Gregor also helped to fund the new local pump track which opened in 2023.

Ross graduated from the University of Dundee as a Dentist in 2009. He has worked at Dundee Dental Hospital in the Oral Surgery Department and also in the Aberdeen Dental Hospital doing restorative dentistry and periodontology. He is a member of the Royal Society of Physicians Glasgow and has a master’s degree in oral surgery.

In his spare time, Ross enjoys running and sailing.

Nadia Ellison graduated as a Dentist from the University of Dundee in 2013 and joined the M&S Dental Care team in 2015.

In her spare time, Nadia and her husband, Ross, like to go sailing and are working towards different maritime qualifications. She is also a big lover of animals and has rescued a couple of hedgehogs.

Henry graduated from the University of Dundee in 2016 as a Dental Therapist. He then went on to study at the University of Aberdeen, graduating as a Dentist with honours in 2020 and joining the team at M&S Dental Care in 2022. Henry recently completed a diploma in implant dentistry and has a special interest in clear aligner orthodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry.

In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, mountain biking and golfing.

Bronagh enjoys making people feel good about their smile through cosmetic dentistry and promoting good oral health.

Outside work, she loves the outdoors and enjoys hill running, mountain biking and open water swimming. Bronagh is the Head Coach of Nevis Triathlon Club and leads weekly sessions in the pool next door before work.

Kirsty is originally from Fort William and is thrilled to be working back in her hometown. She graduated with a BDS from the University of Glasgow in 2023, and she also holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Glasgow.

Outside of dentistry, Kirsty enjoys skiing and has a passion for music—she plays the violin and has even toured China and performed at the BBC Proms.

Kathryn graduated from the University of Dundee in 2017. She worked in Glasgow and Dumfries for 6 years before joining the team at M&S in the summer of 2023. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling and hill walking.
