Clyde Munro Clinical Conference 2018!

Published: 18 October 2018

This years’ Clyde Munro Clinical Conference was another huge success!

The event was held at the Stirling Court Hotel on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th October. On the Friday evening, Associates, Hygienists, Therapists and some of the Support Team enjoyed a beautiful meal in a stunning setting which offered a great chance for everyone to network and introduce themselves to other members of the Clyde Munro Team!

After a great night of delicious food and drinks, one of our speakers, Bobby Broadfoot, ran a Saturday morning yoga class to prepare everyone for a day of learning and CPD.

Our first speaker was Professor Jonathan Sandler who discussed how to determine when orthodontic treatment is indicated as well as the importance of starting orthodontic treatment at an appropriate age.

He spoke about his tips for reducing the impact of stress, how to recognise the signs of stress in both yourself and in colleagues and knowing which actions to take during stressful situations.

As prevention is always better than cure he is committed to encouraging the development of personal and team resilience.
